Jury scams have seen a resurgence in recent months. The court will not ask for your Social Security number, credit card, or bank account information. If you receive a phone call or mailing from someone claiming to be a court official and requesting this type of information, please hang up immediately as those calls are fraudulent and not connected with the U.S. Courts. The only personally identifiable information the court will request from you is a participant number, which is provided on the mailing you received, and your date of birth. Click here for more info.
